Doesn't matter whether it's good or bad, just as long as they are talking about you. Joshua Tree's climbing history is rich in colorful characters and bizarre happenings and events. The people themselves are the history, and some of them have taken on (or been given interesting and amusing nicknames. Some of the nicknames are proud and complimentary, others are rude, crewd , lewd, and tatooed. Here's a sample of some of the nicknames Joshua Tree climbers have somehow obtained.
